Featuring five distinct culinary experiences, The St. Regis Mauritius Resort offers epicureans a myriad of gastronomic influences ranging from French-inspired and traditional Mauritian cuisine to the exotic dishes of South-East Asia and fine Japanese selections.
Comfort is essential for a memorable holiday in Mauritius. Many of our guests ask what they should wear to feel comfortable. We recommend that during the day, guests favour lighter clothes such as dresses, shorts and t-shirts. In the evening, gentlemen will feel more comfortable in long trousers and shirts. Shorts, men’s sleeveless shirts, sportswear and sandals are not permitted in the restaurants during dinner.
Le Manoir Dining Room
Reflecting the decor and personalised service of a dining room in a stately home. Le Manoir Dining Room reveals the meaningful traditions of this inspiring island. Exotic Mauritian flavours merged with French, Mediterranean, Indian & Asian cooking styles present a subtle immersion into true Mauritian hospitality.
The Boathouse Bar & Grill
The Boathouse Grill is an elegant beachside gourmet experience. Vintage champagnes will sparkle next to platters of oysters and grilled prawns. You can eat with your feet in the sand and dance into the sunset! The mood in the evening is very elegant and romantic with incredible lighting showing the restaurant to its best effect.
Our South East Asian inspired offering regional cuisine and products, Thai, Malay, Vietnam, Indonesian and Singaporean ingredients with the pentagon of tastes.
Inspired by the waters around the island, Atsuko is synonymous with feelings of calm, serenity and warmth. Under the guidance of our Asian chef, Atsuko presents the hallmark of the Far East. Fresh seafood, meats and vegetables prepared with the greatest attention to detail to offer a mouth-watering memorable dining experience.
The 1904 Bar
Rare and refined, The 1904 Bar brings us to the top of the St. Regis legacy and the original construction of the Manor House. During the day, it remains a quiet haven of relaxation. As day turns to night, the lighting up ceremony by the Chief Butler includes a ritual of champagne sabering and the commencement of light background jazz artists and residential pianist. At night, full flavoured cocktails, decadent bar snacks and live entertainment set the scene as the lifeblood and social hub of the resort. The1904 Bar brings us back into the Manor House and the time of the start of the family business in the sugar and rum industry. The date coincides with the building of the first St. Regis in New York City, the hallmark of the brand today. Now the bartenders prepare elegant rum cocktails, and an interesting interpretation of Mauritian ‘teasers’.
The continuation of the colonial theme leads us into the classic main bar of the resort. Wood, fabric, rattan and bamboo are the dominant materials used creating the warm atmosphere which takes one back in time. The focus here will be an excellence in spirits and vintage whiskeys. A wide selection of classic champagnes including Cristal and Dom Perignon. A head bartender will create pre-dinner cocktails including the Bloody Mary and our local interpretation (La Belle Creole Mary) which will be accompanied by teasing mini-dishes from The Floating Market.
Simply India features an authentic and traditional Indian cuisine. Continue a voyage across an ocean, inspired by the profound flavours, spices and colonial setting of this signature restaurant. Tandoori specialties and subtle blend of Indian spices with local produce will take you back in time to the sub-continent.
